Default STARTED UP RAN FOR sec now wont start during cranking

after completing my kdp mod of my 94 with standard trans i started it up and with a few seconds of cranking it fired up for a few seconds until i left off the accelerator. It has stalled on me before on a cold start and the letting off the accelerator.i have tried cranking it about 12 times and not getting to fire up.(i waited 2 min between starts though)I just got the truck a few months ago too.it has 265k+ miles on it.I had a buddy check to see if the shutoff selenoid is pulling up and he says that it is.i tried pushing the priming button with the bleeder screw cracked loose and i got no fuel coming out of it.i must of pressed it about 30 times.i am going to change the primary?(looks like an oil filter)and any other fuel filters if nescessary too.
are there any other common problems i can looks for?i live in fl and it is not cold here and i did not adjust anything like timing when i did the kdp mod.i want to get things running as they should before i attempt anything like that.

Did you adjust the speed sensor?

You could also crack open one of the fuel lines and crank the engine for a moment to see if their is fuel coming out of the fuel lines. If not, then you could get a look at the lift pump to see if it went out.

i re installed speed sensor ,is set at 50 thousandths, the tach did work when the truck fired up for those first seconds.i am new to these engines.... try opening a fuel line on the injector pump?how can i tell if the lift pump went out?is it near the fuel heater?THe exhaust still has the dpf? on it and the truck does have 265k,would removing this effect how the fuel is distrubuted into the system?

Right now iam having problems getting my truck started, it cranks for a long time before getting fuel and starting also iam having power loss issues, iam still investigating it if it's the fuel filter or the lift pump, also check for fuel leaks! and by the way your truck doesn't have a DPF sensor on it, thats only for the 6.7s

Put a FP gauge on it. These lps are tuff and dont go out often. Sounds kinda like an air leak.

i am going to look over the fuel lines as i am sure they have never been replaced...especially the rubber lines.i will try replacing filters too.
where could i put a fuel pressure guage on this motor?what does lps stand for?lift pump?is this the same as the fuel transfer pump?
