Adjusting Idle RPM

Its "supposed" to be set at 750-800 (or maybe a bit higher) in gear with the AC on.
Adjusting it isnt too bad as long as your arms are long and dont mind working blind.

Well since you say it is sometimes below 500 rpm during cold idle, its fairly safe to go out right now and loosen/raise(lefty loosey, righty tighty remember ) the bolt a good 3/4 turn and go from there. On mine, it may just be old and half siezed but you can just turn the bolt without loosening the nut underneath. It doesnt take much to get it back up to where it needs to be so don't go crazy on it.
