Default Rough idle, but runs great at over 1500 rpm

Hello I'm a new diesel owner and PROUD to be Anyway my truck idles Rough, it's a 93 chev 6.2,, it's even rougher like say if I'm sitting at a red light I gotta put it in Nutruel just so it smoothens out. Any suggestions or cures?? I don't have a lot of cash to throw at it too, thanks

More info on the truck is needed 1/2 ton or 3/4 ect vin code S or F, but it sounds like you have a injector not working start cracking injector lines one at a time the one that makes no difference is the culprit.

Oh and is the truck smoking ?

Truck smokes at idle and lots driving off. Not too terribly but she smokes. I did crack every injector line but they all appear ok. Wondering could my ecg valve be the issue?

'93 6.2 model.?. Sounds like a fuel restriction. Check lift pump, fuel strainer, and fuel filter conditions....

6.2 Liter Diesel Engine

Added just in case its a typo
6.5 Liter Turbo Diesel Engine
