Default 1997 dodge diesel brake issue bad

My buddy 1997 12v 2500 is having some very serious break issues that left us on the side of the road and got rescued by a 6.0 power-stroke need help bad. About 9,000 miles ago had the front end completely rebuilt by Les scuab for 2k. Passed couple months abs lights been on but never had a issue. But a week ago the pressure line blew to the power staring pump. Just replaced it and put new fluid in. Drove about 15miles and the drivers front side tire starting making some nasty metal grinding noise and started smoking. Seemed like the break pads seized or something and tire started to wobble. What should i do take it to the shop that did the work and make them fix it buddy doesnt have much money.

Sounds like caliper overheated and piston swelled parts should be under warranty

It's worth a shot, sure it's not the hub?

Well, Due to Shwab's ... my F-250 now has a crashed front end ... they left out my brake pawl that go between the brake cyl and the frame of the shoe's ..... had to stop on brakes, and blew out the R rear cyl ...

I would say take it back, but if its a caliper , they would have not known that it was going to happen .. so they might help you , but its gonna cost ya !!!!

i know the rotor was cooking hot so properly warped it (but i have the machine to cut it flat). Think shwab's didn't do something correctly no reason for this to happen

Replace the rotor .... if its warped, just junk it ..... if you turn one, turn them both .. it could cause un balanced braking and possibly pulling under braking...
