Default fuel gauge issue

Hey all my 94 12 valve's fuel gauge doesn't work, I pulled the bed and took the sending unit out and there is no float on the unit and theres no electrical connector on the top of the unit. Also theres no wiring for the unit either. So if anyone could help itd be much appreciated

How long have you owned the truck? Might want to contact the previous owner and ask what he did to the fuel system - that's not stock.
