47rh transmission acting up.. Need help!
I have a 1995 dodge cummins with a 47rh automatic transmission. I just put it in couple months ago. has maybe 2,000 miles if that. has a stage 2 low stall TC. The TCC solenoid went out so i replaced it. it was a little low on trans fluid but it was still on dip stick right at the ADD level. took it down my lane (1/2 mile) and stopped at the top. gave it some gas try and spin tires a little and now its acting up. I filled it with fluid to the FULL mark and added Lucas stop slip. Now if i ease into the throttle slowly it will spin. But if i jump on it, it just revs high. If i drive down the road i can lock the TC and it takes off. Slowing down if i downshift on the column it slows the truck down normal. if i drive normal, works fine..

could be. i had one that only had first and R and like 2nd in ahalf then it would rev up. converter failer kinda doubt it. what kind of mainline pressure is the pump making? did you do the tranny install? you could have had the converter slip out of the input a bit and bind in the pump drive and jacked the pump dawgs up?
