Alright i have a 97 cummins 4x4 auto and i want a manual .what all do i need

 

Everything get on car-part.com I got everything I i needed from a junk yard in Texas . For 2700.u are going to need. adapter plate on motor. bellhousing. trans .transfer case. Crossmeber . Clutch pedals . shifters and boots. When u pull ur carpet up the hole should already be there .All hydrolics . Slave cylinder master cylinder. Fly wheel of course a clutch kit. And possibly drive shafts I got the shafts to but I Dont remember if I used them I do believe that's everything.

 

A donor truck would be ideal, that would make it a ton easier

 

I'd have to disagree with that thatd prolly be more expensive and twice as much work because u would be pulling 2 trannys . But then again if u wanna spend the extra mony u could turn the other into the auto truck and have a spare truck or sell it but then if wanna spend the money just buy the other truck and do all the goody work to that truck if it was me id stick with just getting a trans from a complete truck in the junk yard much chper and less hassle
