Default need pyrometer wiring not the probe I have that

I bought a set of gauges a while back from a guy and everything looked fine in the box. I pulled them out today because I am helping a fellow bomber out with a set for his truck. I look at the pyro and find all this electrical tape around where the wiring the yellow shielding with black and red wires inside.. it's been clipped and all jacked up. I have a spare probe just no wiring. So maybe someone has a wire setup out there? If that makes sense

just use some normal like 18 or 16 gauge wire whatever size it was before. all it is is electrical wiring

the yellow shielding i believe is just like a protective heat shield stuff should be able to find it at any local auto store

nope it shouldnt. i hacked mine up, rerouted it and cut it to turn with my trucks interior, and it has never changed the slightest bit. length of wire will not add any resistance at all. all the probe is is a resister that changes with heat same way a water or oil temp gauge will work. just make sure its heat wrapped where it matters, and other than that, its just wire. hope that helps

Thanks. I will let the guy know but will see if I can't get the correct wire setup for him.

Dieselmanor.com has the wiring under "gauge accessories"
