Default TV Cable connector needed

86 GMC with a 6.2 diesel. Pulling trans and broke the end off the throttle cable piece that comes off the throttle mechanism and attaches to the TV cable at the back of the engine.

Its that stiff (almost coat hanger thickness) wire that goes underneath the plenum, hooks directly to the throttle linkage on one end and goes onto a plastic clip that mates up with the TV cable. Anybody got one? I can maybe finagle something but as important as that cable adjustment is, I just dont feel comfortable trying anything dumb.

Thanks!
Ed

I believe you will have to buy a brand new Cable.

I cant find it for sale anywhere. I can get a TV cable all day long, but thats not what I need. I need the part that goes from the TV cable to the throttle linkage, underneath the plenum.

Have you tried Summit Racing. I looked up "transmission kickdown" and found Lokar KD-2700HT and a couple of others. They have the whole kit with the bracket and carb attachment.

Is this the part that you are looking for Edelbrock 8018
