I run ARB front and rear in my puller. I went the welded route for the rear and had bad luck with it on the street. Broke the welds twice. If you are not streeting the truck then just weld them up. Welding the front is a cheap option and still allows streetability is you keep the cad system intact. You can get 3wheel drive if you don't lock in the cad. I would think for a street truck that a detroit would be a good option for the rear. I know a few times I forgot to lock in the rear ARB on the street and did one wheel marks. ONe thing on the detroit is be careful if you blow an axle there is a good chance you will trash the detroit. The recoil from the unit loading and unloading is what breaks things in the detroit and detroit would prefer you buy a new unit instead of selling you parts(ie the parts costs are near what a new unit runs) I figured if I am putting $800 in a rear locker I might as well spring for the high dollar axles. EMSOFFROAD has a nice setup for the front. You can go to 1.5" 35spline front axles.
