I will be pulling almost 30k on a flat bed(takin down 120 year old barns) So can it be done?

If what I'm seeing for the bed size is correct for the Mega cab, your gonna be out of luck for an RV unless you do the longbed conversion for about $6Grand. The bed looks to short to even work with a slider hitch. Measure your bed if you don't know the dimensions and let me know how long it is from the back of the cab to the end of the bed, not including tailgate.

This all depends on how the roller hitch mounts to make sure that they don't conflict with each other on the frame rails. From the bed side it would be fine as far as clearance. 30,000 pound trailer though, I hope this is at least a triple axle.

I don't know anything about the mega Cabs myself but just lookin at em they look like a shorter bed then the normal short bed truck, but I'm probably wrong on that.

If this is the case it's gonna be real close with one of the modern design RV's. With a slider it will put you to the limits and I would still keep an eye on it.

i pull a 53' car hauler. I have the 12" extender and I still come close to hitting my cab. I have not got out and looked at but just keep an eye out in the mirror.

Take a look at the sidewinder hitch(www.fifthairborne.com). It might work for you.

The total bed length on my truck is supposed to be 6.25 feet, so 6.3 is about right. I have looked at the sidewinder, and will probably look into getting one. I know they offer a sidewinder with the air ride all in one combo to replace the pin box. What slider do people suggest I look into?
