Default Trailer Winch Mounting

Someday soon I'm going to be looking at mounting a winch to the front of my car trailer to bring disabled vehicles up onto the trailer deck.

So for those who have one on their bumper pull trailer--
How do you have it mounted? Removeable?
What about a power source?
Type of winch?

I was thinking maybe a 6k winch would be enough to winch vehicles with flat tires onto the trailer...

I have one I welded a piece out of a hitch receiver like on your truck to the front of mine and have a 10K mile marker on it whats awesome about that is that when I go wheeling I can put it in the hitch on the truck so its dual use and I winch cars and have used all 10K worth to get even small cars up on there and mine sits on the ground in the back when its down for power go get a set of big plugs like they have on service trucks for 12V power for jumper cables ect and run some #6 from your bats to the back all 3 of my trailers take that style plug for different things and there awesome and when someone else wants to use one I have a big batt out of a CAT thats all wired up for the plug so it makes the trailers self contained
