Only someone with some driving experience should even attempt to tow ANYTHING, and have a DRIVERS LICENSE.

If you care enough to ask the question, we care enough to try an answer you as honestly as we can. Hope you didn't take any offense to the answers given, they weren't meant to offend but rather to hopefully keep you and yours safe on the road. Sometimes the truth doesn't exactly turn out to be exactly what we were hoping to hear. But I suspect you already knew what you were planning wasn't right or you wouldn't have asked about it. For that I say, you sound like a smart kid so follow what you know to be right and don't let the enthusiasm get the better of ya.

Don't forget to post some pictures of the truck, it sounds pretty cool.

you can start a photobucket account. it's free. that's how most of the guys post their larger pictures.

That load is too much for a 3/4 ton suspension. I wouldn't tow that with anything less than my f350 dually and i would prefer a F450 or 550 actually. Your going to have around 3500 lbs of pin weight and that will overload your rear axel. Not sure exactly on the duramax rear axel limits but they can't me too much different than the others. Ford f250 rear axel limts is around 2,900 lbs. My f350 is around 4500 i believe.

This is a very good point. Better make sure you check things out before buying the trailer. As well, 6" of lift probably doesnt make it the ideal tow vehicle.

This all sounds familiar. My kid got me started on these sites when he was 13 years old and I got my new diesel. Now he's workin on his Bachelour (I know I can't even spell it) degree in Business and Automotive Diesel Repair and drag racin for a hobby. All he wanted to do was get on these sites and get ideas for things to tinker with on my new truck.

I hope your smart enough to at least let you dad know when your gonna do somthin to the truck, unlike somebody else I used to get so mad at.
