When I first got my 36.5' Jayco TalonZX Toy Hauler 5th Wheel, i had to see what my truck would do coming up Fancy Gap (I 77 North), on my way back from Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Not sure what my weight was but the camper itself is around 10,000, add two Harleys and all our stuff I'm guessing I was pulling around 12,500. Laid into it before the base of the mountain and topped it at 75mph in 5th gear. That was pre mods. I'd hate to have seen what my EGT's were, the engine temp climbed a little over 210. I was impressed, seeing how the previous owner of the camper could only hit 55mph with another brand diesel of the same year as mine.

As a full time rv traveler, I use the Mountian Directory Books (Many truckers and RVers use em).
