How Heavy Have You Towed?
I haul oil field equipment all over The Great State of Texas. Being a mini float I'm apportioned at 36,000 LBS. Most of the time I gross about 26,000 to 30,000 LBS. Over 30,000 LBS gross is the tipping point for a one ton, heavier than that's not very safe and is getting into big truck territory. Here's a few examples of my typical loads.

My neighber is a waste collector, he told me 66,540 on ten wheels is what he picked-up with a side loader garbage truck. I myself have trucked 150k permited accross Ms,AL&Fl. Towed a 35 ft boat once with a nissan 4bangin 5spd hardbody,. Then a 40ft camper with a 1500silverado auto, didn't like that one glad it was only a few miles.
