were they filled with lead to their gvwr? to get that weight? curb weight for the 3 wouldn't be much over 17k.. so maybe it was a lead trailer?

even the combined weight of the 3 trucks and the car couldn't be much over 25k so i guess a 52' wedge weighs about 13k empty?

New record this year, 40' gooseneck with a 25' pintle dragging behind that with 30 1 ton round bales so roughly 60k. (previous record was 27 round bales) It didnt turn well and my clutch isnt happy with me but got the job done. I was wishin for some airbags though...

You can legally haul as much weight as your truck is registered or taged for. Giving you are not overloading you tires and springs. you have the money for permits you can tow as high as you can afford to pay for

That said most 1 ton trucks (hotshots loads) gross out at 36000 to 48000. Depending on the setup they have. You do have to remember too loading that much weight correctly. Which is the most important thing when hauling heavy.

30920 gross haul for me scrap metal

how do you figure? my bros truck weighs 8k stock plus hes running semi wheels and tires thats at least another 1000 lbs one 12v was a extended cab dually 8k the other was a ext cab short bed thats 7k 68 camaro with no motor 2k 52ft car hauler 13k 500lbs in crap in the back of the truck plus he has a 100 gallon fuel tank full thats about 700lbs so lets add it up. 8000+1000+8000+7000+2000+13000+500+700= a grand total of 40,200lbs let me kno if you come up with another number plus me and him in the truck is another 400
