been wantin it for ever but never really looked into it............the ride is rough and would like to smooth things out

looking for the kinna bags that totally replace the leafe springs in the back.....who makes em ???

if you have these or know of them tell me the pros and cons of the deal

I think its the only thing else I need to do to my truck

Whitmore, look at the first gen performance and longevity. Bigrich was talkin about he had the front end of his First Gen done. I'd ask him. He said he had manual fill valvess on it, but it's pretty cheap that way. Best thing that ever happened to a big truck. The only thing it hurt was off-road capability

 

I have drove semis that had air ride and it is totally amazing.............I would love to have this for my truck

My dealer catalogs show some for as little as $195 per axle and $280 for the cab control compressor.

The high dollar ones that were refered to earlier are the air suspension lifts. They are adjustable height bags. the others are adjustable ride bags specifically for smoother ride and increased weight capacity.

i'm interested in airride but i didn't want to add a big lift to the front-end...

i "guess" if you add airride and want to keep the front height original, you can only add it to the rear alxe.....don't know much about air ride for pickups....
i'll call kelderman....

 

I talked to a Kelderman dealer dealer today.....Kelderman has nothing for my truck on the books................the guy said he would investigate it more and call me back

 

You can add air bags to the front and rear without raising the ride hight, you just have to find the right bags. In a addition you can also get kits that replace the front spring with their own equipment or like the timberen bags that are just an asisst type addition. I think they go in place of your bump stops. I've never dealt with these myself, just looked at em in the dealer catalogs and drooled.
