the more expensive air ride allowed you to increase your carring load 500 to 1000 pounds.

How about just Air Ride seats?

I have a few links on my other computer that I could probably dig up.

There is a company that make air ride seats for Fords. You can modify them and mount your OEM seats. Im sure youd be able to handle the mods Kevin.

I find it hard to believe that Kelderman doesnt have anything for your truck:

I can order em right out of a catalog for about the $500-600 for one axle and the in cab controlled compressor. Not much more for the front axle included. It's all Air Lift brand compessor and bags.

Not sure if this is what you are after Whit, but Ill post anyway in case someone else is. Heres the stuff for the air ride seats:

I believe the last link is the guys that have the bases for Ford trucks. You can buy just the bases and modify them so you can use your seats on the air ride base. There is a thread on DTR about this...

i'm new at air rides.
but i stopped by a dealer yesterday and he said that there are basically 2 types of air rides.
1. air ride helpers (those that assist your existing suspension)
2. air ride that replaces your suspension.

air ride helpers will only increase your load carrying capacity and they do not improve your ride...

a separate air bag system that removes the rear leaf springs will soften the ride the most.....
i have no info on what to do to the front springs other than siften them and that won't help improve the ride unless you have a snow plow up front all the time.
i have owned a couple of cadilacs with a rear air bag system and it was awesome. the dealer and i talked about the caddy system......LOL i never cared much about the caddies but i did notice a light would come on when system was leveling the ride and inflating the bag.... yes "the bag" cadilac has a single bag system.

even tho the kelderman system has tons of pics.
i didn't really understand his system until i saw these pics..
i'm only guessing but i think Kelderman is twice the price of Air Lift.
