Yes the gen runs the whole thing, although the heat will work on battery and propane but the a/c will not. The heat is propane/12 volt dc and the a/c is 120 volt ac.

Having had two bumper pull THs I have a few thoughts: don't get one with 3500 lb axles or 14 inch tires, a fuel station would be a must and I strongly suggest you get one with a GROSS weight no more than 85% of your tow vehicles towing capacity. Never never use the ''dry'' weight for considering anything and never believe an RV salesman. Toy haulers are heavy compared to travel trailers. Also watch not to exceed the rear axle weight of your truck because toy haulers have much higher tongue weights too.
