I think I saw that hitch for $150, the rails were $189. Well I obviously already have the rails. Now I see most B&W hitches for $300 or so. If I'm wrong, and the Tite draw is more $$$, then I dont see where I could go wrong with the B&W, hell I already have the hole cut in my bed. I gotta pinch pennies, but I'm not going to sacrifice quality. If its a CRAPPY hitch, then yeah I'll go with the B&W.

 

Go with what ruff said. I have the same setup and would not ever change. I use the rails to tie down thing in the bed when not using the hitch. I might not be able to haul sheetrock but that is what I have a trailer for.

 

depends on how your going to use your bed when not towing. the rails in my old truck were a pia to deal with as I slide a lot of things in my trucks. my b&w turnover ball system is awesome. but it's all in what you want to do and plan on doing according to the website the adapter plate that bolts into the 5th wheel setup is good for 25k but if your truck is tall and you add this plate it could be too tall

 

Yeah its got a little 2" lift on it, plus Dodges sit a little higher from the factory than Fords and Chevys do. I dont think it will be a huge deal, I think I'm just going to go with the Draw Tite. It is cheaper, and I did some research, and have found no negative feedback on it. The only time it would get in the way is when I haul hay, but it can be pulled out when I do that. I only haul hay 4 times a year or so, so thats no big deal. I think this will work for me, and I thank everyone for their input.

Never gave me any troubles, just look at my avatar. Had no problems hauling that or a 15,000 pound dump truck. The hitch its self is rated to haul 25,000. Hope all this helps.

Hey no prob about the defending thing. Hell its just a job for me, I dont think of it as anything other than that. It pays bills. As far as the pic of that pin, I dunno if I'm just dumb or what. I'm failing to see how those hold the actual hitch in place to the bed rails. I'm not seeing the big picture.....do the pins and everything come with the hitch?
