I've got 265/75R16 cooper discover atr on my 2wd F250 and no problems so far just a little sliding when I want to turn sharp in the snow, wear isn't too bad on them unless your lovin the posi (I had fun when I was 16 with this truck). I don't care for the 31 10.5 R15 BFG AT KO on my 90 F150, they're great on the freeway but suck if there's gravel on the pavement or it's wet or your on snow(packed is fine, powder, they suck, dry pavement great, dirt great but nothing else (guess who had hell gitting out of the snow with his half ton today). O yea I almost forgot the 315/75R16 Wild County Radial MTR on my 97 F150, they sucked. Even dry pavement I was sliding, but damn was it fun (I love to scare the hell out of the rice in detroit). Ok, I'll get off my soap box now

Well they were all out of my Procomp Xtreme A/T's, so I got em to throw on Cooper Discoverer STT's. Turns out a couple of my buddies have been running them and absolutely love them and say they wear well, but horrible on ice...... which is pretty much a given hahaha.

So we'll see how these work, pick the rig up today after work.

I have BF Goodrich Commercial Traction T/A's all around on my Dually...use the 4x4 sparingly, by far, the BEST tire I've owned. The Commercial Tractions have limited sizes available, probably due to being load range E. Hope this helps!

Hate to say it but I told ya so. Anyway, Cooper STT's Got 30000 out of a set of 285 8 plys on my dodge and they were 1/4 tread when I took them off. That included alot of smokey burnouts and boosted launches. Currently running 315 ATR's and they suck. To wide for snow, not aggressive enough for mud and not heavy enough to tow (only 8 ply) Had BFG AT's on my chevy 1500 worked great in mud, snow, sucked in rain or ice, once they got to 3/4 -1/2 tread they just plain sucked. And stay away from the goodyear MTR's. They suck. No traction on wet roads and they dont self clean in mud like the STT's do.

i have 35" ProComp AT's i got 60,000 miles out of them but they sucked on anything but pavement. they took forever to clean out and never gripped in snow or mud. I just ordered 35" Toyo Open Country MT's today. they are suppose to be one hell of a tire from everyone i talked too. they weren't cheap

I have goodyear mt/r's 305/70/17's and I am really impressed. we got a pretty good snow storm for TN standards 5" plus snow and sleet. I had no problem in fact I pulled 4 people out of ditches and driveways. Just a testiment the last guy I pulled out as I went to get out of my truck i slipped and fell on my **** and thought I might have some trouble but the truck didnt even slip at all pulling his full size toyota suv out.
