Been looking at those too... My only issue is I ran them once for about 20 miles and they would not balance...

I mounted them and took them in to get balanced and they run smooth, I haven't seen anybody else run them, mabey I just got lucky.

I took mine down to my friend at schwabs. He was impressed with the quality for retreads but did have a little trouble balancing them. They don't wobble for me at all though.

Thats the ticket right there, most blowouts are caused by runnin on low air pressure usually caused by a slow leak. Tire maintenence is key. I saw a study they did once where 65% of the gators on the road were virgins. Still won't run caps on my truck though, if it was a dually and I didn't care about damaging fenders then I would. I noticed on your truck CSI that when your new tire blew it didn't damage the box

It damaged the box a bit, but I was able to just play with it until it was back in shape...

i ordered a set for the wifes SUV i think they were 265/70/16 guard dawgs from

treadwright.com

we got about 20k on them right now....we get them rotated and balanced ever 5k miles

and they are at about 90% right now.......i am ordering a set for my truck this week but there on backorder for about 6-8 weeks for the size im getting.....our SUV was kind of like our test drive for the tires to see if they were really as good as they said they were and so far im a big fan

i got my 16.5 wheels and tires from Trail Worthy Fab

you can't beat $90 per tire for 37's with 80% or better tread and double beadlocks.
