I am paying almost $400 a piece for my Toyo's, dont get me wrong I love them, but shite, $200 a piece!

That'a amazing that someone is actually continuing the 16.5 tire, I have 16.5's and trying to find tires for them is becoming scarce...BFG was doing them and they actually show that they are still providing that size, but she-ite I can't find anyone carrying them...Thanks for the info Joe!

I'm not into retreads, seen to many of them coming apart on the HIGHWAY:td:

95% of the retreads you see "come apart" were flat and run that way for MANY miles. Its EXTREAMLY rare for a retread to have any issues.

I've entertained the thought of retreads as well since I don't tow heavy...

tiremann9669 05-04-2011 06:55 PM

I've seen pickups with the side of the box completely demolished from a recap coming apart. No recaps for me, although if I had a big rig I would run them. :c:

If the tiremann doesn't like recap, you know they're not the best, it's hot in MIAMI & I drive fast don't need the recap to come apart on me:nope:

I don't do recaps either. I did it once, and it was properly maintained the tire that was 5 months old, and it went out. This was a highway class 8 rig hauling plate steel. After that no more retreads! No retread company can guarantee the safety of the public.
