Insight on installing a lift??
Like the title says... Can anyone help me with installing a suspension lift? I'm looking to buy either a 5.5" or 6" lift here soon and wanna know how hard it is and what tools I'd need if I was to do it myself. Any advice and details is appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Secure the truck, [i wouldn't use jack stands] my truck rolled once and fell down I'd do the rear first[your drive line might pull your axle forward] so try one side at a time or undo your driveline. In front i would use 2 or 3 U bolts to compress the spring[provided u have solid metal plating at the end of the U bolt] u can use a bottle jack and a 4x6 to create some extra space between axle and body. In the rear u can also use 2 jacks: place one under your tow hitch[lowest/strongest point] and one to slowly lower your axle if ur gonna do both sides at a time. SECURE the truck!

I think any lift is a good lift...as far as ride quality it most matters on the Springs[front] and good shocks. Ur gonna use blocks in the rear...so nothing there. Check out Topguncustomz dot com they have some nice deals. that's where i get all mt stuff
