Default What size tires to run on 22.5 Dually rims

Buying new rims trying to figure out what size tire I can run on them. The rims are 22.5 and come with 295/75's. Can I run that tire or do I have to only run 255/70's? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't understand the Idea behind the whole 22.5 thing when you cac get LT tires to handle your load, they're just gonna beat the crap out of your suspension but I guess you can run whatever you can fit under there and have the gearing to turn

Isnt 295's some where around 41in tall? Kinda tall espically on a 2nd gen. I had 255/70 on my mega cab and my duramax and loved them. I would stick with the 255's. There cheaper and tall enough in my opinion. Plus the double coin traction tires i had were only 225 bucks and on both trucks i had over 100k miles on them and they were still good tread.
