Default Special Rims for 1 ton?

I dont know much about buying rims but eventually i would like to get some for my 2008 F350, i was wondering if i needed special rims to hold up to the extra load in the bed or towing? And in on the front rims do i need special rims for the manual locking hubs?
Thanks, Blake

I've never heard of needing special rims for lockouts, some have center caps that are open on the end for the lockouts. Just devide your max GVW by 4 and make sure whatever rims you're lookin at are rated for at least 1/4 of your GVW.

i know ProComp wheels in the 8 lug alloy are rated for 3420 lbs per wheel. also make center caps that are two piece so just the end will come off to lock in your hubs.
hope this helps.

Says who? Im running 18x10 ultra wheels on my 09 F350 and tow 20-30k regularly. Ive had zero problems. Yes forged are nice but at $500 plus per wheel its retarded to spend that when other wheels work fine. Unless thats what you want.
