Whats a good mud tire?
My experience is just about everyone complained about anything from pro-comp
everyone seems to love the BFG AT's
noone can afford goodyear wrangler MTR's
haha
I would say get some goodyear wrangler MTR's
and i'll throw out yet another tire, firestone destination MT. I put 30k on a set of those and they were just below half tread with no noticeable loss in traction in any condition.

my dad somehow got 50k on the nitto trail grapplers but theyre prolly not aggressive enough...i have toyo m/t's and they have plenty of traction dont last long cause theyre soft i put about 4500k on em and they look half gone
I was just wondering what a good set of tires would be for my truck since I'm going to have to replace mine sometime this summer. I got some free used ones from a friends and put those on since they all matched and were way better then what came on the truck when I bought it but they aren't in real great shape either. In the summer I usually take the dirtiest route to wherever it is I'm going (so I can have some fun before work or whatever) but being in a rural area, I still do quite a bit of highway driving too. I have factory steel wheels so I can't run anything huge. I have 235/85/16s now but I think I might be able to run 285/75/16s ok, but maybe something in between just to be safe. So what have you guys run that you liked that was decently priced and if you ordered online where from? I'd like to go with a mud tire but all terrains would work too. Thanks
I finally pulled the trigger on a set of Kelly Safari TSRs this week. They should be going on this week. Hopefully tom. or Friday. Im so ready to have good tires again. Mine are really chipped from driving gravel like 60% of the time
toyo mt's are awesome had them on my last truck before i sold it and they were great they will be going on my knew one as soon as it needs tires... the nittos trail grapplers will be very comparable as toyo and nitto are in bed together. as for mileage it all depends on how you drive and what tire presure you run. same tire same truck two different drives 1 will get 20000 km the other will get 80000 km .
had 20000 km on the toyos when i sold the truck and they still looked like knew..but i also ran 65psi in them year round and rotated every 8000 km.
