Default Belt Seperation??

So, Ive got these tires and theyve got some funny bulges on them. Kind of hard to see in the pics - but they are definitely there. I checked online for any recalls - there dont appear to be any. What do you guys think?

I dont think so - tires on the rear are same as the front.

My concern obviously is that this may be dangerous on the highway.

yeah the bands separate on the sidewalls, those dont look like anything serious you'll be fine.

you should of seen some of tires we put on trade in trailers at the trucking company i worked for in high school, we had to turn off the radio in the shop so we could listen for the bands to start poppin...fun. Had one go off at 85 psi that will make you pucker up let me tell ya

Are talking about little rib like bumps on the side wall. I had a set of tires like that once and took them back to the dealer and he told me not to worry about it. I wasn't impressed but I ran them till they wore out with no problems. I hope you have the same luck

That is a ply overlap showing through the top coat of rubber.

Perfectly normal...it usually doesn't show up until the tire is heat cycled, load cycled, and has a few miles on them, but most light truck tires will end up with something similar over time.

Nothin' to worry 'bout.

*that's what our tire guy told me*
