Ive had good experience with the beads (my beads are different - I have a dessicant/air dryer on my compressor). FYI, I learned about the beads from Infidel on DTR and thats why I went with the beads. The man is a HUGE database of first hand knowledge and I trust ANY advice he gives.

And yeah, the beads DO sound too good to be true dont they? Dont let the tire changers talk you out of them....theyll probably try to see you weights anyway....

I got them delivered for $75, which I thought was very fair, since they weigh 25lbs a piece.

BTW: Dennis, I checked on the load rating and it's 3100lbs per wheel.

I dropped by Goodyear this evening and talked with the manager. He's going to mount them for free and, when the beads don't work , he'll balance them for free, too! You knew that was coming, didn't you!

Oh, and another question:

I've been looking at exhausts and haven't been able to make my mind up about the 4" or 5". I was pushing for the 5", but I think I'm going to stay local and get the 4". I'm looking for tone; am I giving up much in tone by not going with the 5"?

A good amount of the tone can be manipulated with the tip. Just by cutting off the amount of exhaust pipe the 5 or 6 inch tip will deepen the tone. Some times the 5" exhaust will make the truck run rough if your not runnin high enough HP for it. around 500hp is where you would need to go to the 5".

The train that was carrying my rims derailed, so the package has been delayed. Hopefully, they get it sorted and I get the delivery soon.

Thanks for the info, Dennis, I still don't know what I'm going to do, but I'm leaning more towards the 4" ... especially if there might be an issue with my HP and a 5". I don't see me adding much more than I have now, maybe Jammer 3's, but that's it.

If you want a deep tone go for the 5"...if you just want an exhaust..a 4" will be fine. JMO.
