I've always liked this guys opinons. He is very unbiased and manufactures are even sending him firearms to test and review. He is a Glock fan but have seen him praise the HELL out of some other models from other people.

Oh and for the "Glock is not accurate" crowd...

Glock 23 (Compact) at 230 yards

Glock 27 (Sub-Compact) at 230 yards.

You don't see glocks at competition where you can use any gun you want

What kinda comp?

I see them at 3 gun all the time, they are also equally used at our Practical Pistol comps as any other brand.

Is a 1911 all worked over the tack driving king, Yep... Is the glock a great PD gun, Yep...

If all I did was target practice and wanted to shoot one hole groups then a 1911 would be my favorite. But thats not what I shoot.

Very true,

Difference between accurate and precise.

A Glock is accuarate a 1911 worked over is VERY accurate

I don't think I'll be carrying a .22 or a .50 for CC anytime soon.

Shame Regan never got a chance to pull the 1911 and shoot....

However, point still stands....no president has ever carried a glock....but one of he greatest presidents carried a 1911....

Secret Service does not carry glocks...

So how can the glock be such a great gun when it does not protect the most powerful man in the free world...

If you have never read this...then read it...

SAFETY WARNING! Worn Leather Holsters Can Cause Accidental Discharges!

Lots of fail here....but bottom line is the glock went bang due to a worn out holster getting leather in the trigger guard....if that was a gun with a frame mounted safety such as a 1911 it never would have gone bang...
