Never really wanted one until I find out Obama's going after them. Picked up a varmint version today, ordered 1000 rds, and two 20 rd mags. Ain't gonna let him tell me what I can and can't have.

They ain't gonna get any cheaper, better get one now. Debating whether to get a short barrel version also.

 

Now you need to think about getting a scope for it !!! What barrel twist does it have 1/7, 1/8, or 1/9 ???

 

Couldn't tell you about the barrel other than it's 24"

 

do you know if its a heavy barrel thats what i want to get. here theyre cosidered hunting rifles with the heavy barrel but with the standard barrel they are assult rifles.

 

HI 94MATT, That information is on the barrel, you need to know that, Your rifle will shoot better with the right bullet weight !!!

 

Can't get the cover thing off the barrel to check, the instructions don't show how this one comes apart. They show the barrel cover splitting, this one is a solid round piece of metal that has to come off different than what the destructions say.

 

I've never seen the solid forearms. I'll ask around.

Enjoy it. I'd love to have one now.
