Ok back off pal you are just disrespectful and made a complete *** of yourself. There is no reason to throw down aggressive uninformed comments as to how someone is wrong when you don't even know me. You don't like my comment then don't comment about it in a bad way. Just say that you don't agree.

How about you leave posts alone if you don't like them? I posted the DAG because it was a pretty neat design and you come in rambling like an incoherent idiot not even reading full posts before you comment.

Because of your unintelligent rambling we all have lost IQ points from being in the same vicinity of such idiocracy.

A little respect can go a long way in this world and you have yet to show any at all on this post.

Let's see. I have four shattered lumbar discs. What's gonna stop me from being on scene commander? I have the NIMS certifications for it. Just because I can't lift anything doesn't mean I don't tell people what to do every time we are paged.

Oh my goodness, your are calling me names, making fun of me, making personal attacks towards me and you don't even know me...heck, your very disrespectful to me...a disabled vet...disabled in direct service to our country.....in a combat zone...

I am appalled at how rude and mean you are...and your total lack of respect.

Who's post is it? The first thing you pop up is that I'm full of brown gooey stuff and I have no credibility.

I'm gonna let this one go and just walk away now.

You'll never see me posting trying to prove the OP wrong because that's just not cool.

I too was disabled in direct service, maybe we can find a common ground there, mine was from saving lives.

I'm not a mean hateful guy by any means but I do stand behind what I say and defend it.

We cool?

How about NFPA 1582 if I remember right, but it's been a few years...Does the NFPA address physical fitness standards for fire fighters....or your department does not follow NFPA guides...and you know as well as I do just cuz your IC does not mean you wont/don't have bunkers & will not partake in extraction or other on scene duties instead of just sitting in a vehicle and talking over the radio.

I was approved and appointed the IC and yes there is a fitness requirement but that was wavered by the medical director of the county. Which is completely legal and still follows guidelines but I have a separate set of protocols designed so that I am not injured further. AKA light duty which is basically a radio, pencil, good view of the scene and either driving or walking around structure or wild land fires.

Everyone on my volunteer station knows of my injury and I have yet to be asked to lift anything at all. They follow my instructions to the letter and I have a great crew. Since the gravity of my injury and all of my qualifications above the volunteer setting I teach the volunteers all the standards, protocols, and guidelines.

Along with creating SOP's that are accepted through the county for physical fitness requirements to do heavy duty work.

What I mean by appointed IC is if I arrive on scene the current in command will relinquish command to me. Not that I take command but I am given it. It's not required but it is done in that manner because otherwise I am only good for advice or as a safety officer.

It's got aftermarket sights, what brand man?

Also if anyone is interested here is a thread about glock plastic sights and there's a few links to good replacements.
