2WD Duramax Pulling
all he got was the u-joint, he was running boggers saturday and he thinks thats what got it, i told him to go to 1410 so there was less chance of breakage, 1480's would be even better.......i know he either swapped in or is going to swap in a t-case also.....

yeah, and when your done, just tip the barrel over and the water comes out....his truck is ALOT heavier compared to mine, i need 2600 pounds added to run against him.....
thats real good, ive always wondered how i could do if i hooked to the sled, i hooked in the truck tug at a county fair one time an came in 4th out of 7 with wore out back tires, all the others were 4X4, which my truck weighs in at 7800 lbs empty
thats a major disadvantage for you being that heavy, on a 2wd truck you want all of the weight to the rear of the truck, preferably as much behind the rear axle as possible....
Yeah More weight on the rear wheels pushes them down harder into the ground for more traction and less spinning the wheels, if you can get both of the front wheels off the ground yer in business, except you wouldn't be able to steer
