2WD Duramax Pulling
he took second in the street class this weekend against 22 4x4 trucks.
So there u have it out of a little over 20 trucks 2wd placed 2nd not to bad. |
Thats not bad - I always wondered if I tried that with my 2wd if I could get it to do good... I guess that question has been asnwered huh
No Brant, that was a DMax that did that. Dont even try it.
Ha Ha - aren't you funny :gunner: :loco:
notice how high the rear end was? That's the key to it. I'm surprised they let him pull with a hitch height that high. But if it was a cummins it would have won.
keith told us 2WD guys we are allowed to run a 31 inch hitch height against the 4x4's, the trick isnt really the hitch height, its how high you can get the truck in the rear to make 31 inches.....me, him, and a couple others guys are doing some talking about setups and stuff, just wait til you see the hot 2WD cummins making its debut sometime this year.....i might have a new GOOD paying job this week selling construction equipment, 400 a week plus commission, and if i get it, WATCH OUT!!!!, im gonna be blowing all kinds of money on my dodge to pull with.....i already got a list of stuff to buy/build for it.....dually wheels, 31x11.50x16 swamper LTB's, traction bars, bump stops, a few other toys i got up my sleeve.....he only lost by a few inches to a 4x4 cummins
by the way, i was at that pull saturday night taping from the finish line, give it a few days and those videos will be up.......this was one of Kurt's buddies taping...... |
