usmc0311- Its certainly been a large undertaking and allot of work (with allot more work to go) but I just keep telling myself that in the end, besides the bottom-end of the motor, 2 axles and the transfer case, this truck will be almost brand new....and not many owners of a 95 dodge CTD with 313,000 miles on it can say that their truck is pretty much brand new in 2011. So I say restore yours!

Red Rattler: Nope....theres another nut job doin it too!

usmc0311- oh, and i forgot to say that the wasnt powder coated...but thanks for compliment! It was actually treated with P.O.R. 15 (which is a rust inhibitor/encapsulator) and has 2 coats of chassis black paint.

Would u say that P.O.R 15 is better then the spray in bed liner? Bc im gonna try that and see how that works out. Bc im gonna spray the frame, in under the bedand the cab and restore everything else. Im gonna paint the truck black. Aka the black pearl.

well it depends. The POR 15 coating seems to be some really tough stuff, but offers no traction to the surface. It dries hard and smooth, and supposedly is resistant to chemicals. For my bed liner Im going to try the cheap herculiner.....I had a friend who tried it and it turned out pretty nice. I like the name of your project, and bust of luck man! Let me know how you make out with what ever you choose to do bed liner!

Well with the school semester coming to a close (and graduation as well) we finally made a little more progress. Got the firewall and radiator support painted and put together, along with a new radiator and cleaned up/painted intercooler and we are in the process of getting the cab on. It feels good to finally see some blue paint....

Today I got three finals and then work in the evening but after today I officially graduate so that frees me up to work on the truck I got the intercooler tubes hooked up and ready for boost. Next is bleeding the breaks, and working the interior and then finally get it started!!
