95 restoration
Well guys this is the start of my trucks restoration. With the big help of my father, we will be tackling this project one step at a time. We found a 97 dodge 1500 that sideswiped a telephone pole so we picked it up for a thousand bucks. We fixed the bad side of the cab corner and cut out repair panels out of the bed. The plan is to get all the body work done on the cab, doors, and fenders before I take my truck off the road for the rest of the duration of the project.

Well I got some more pics uploaded from this past weekend of the cab removal.....It was like a huge game of jenga at one point haha. Im not sure how heavy these cabs are, but they certainly aren't light! Well as soon as we make some more progress or I get my 5 speed I'll post some more pics. Until then keep rollin' the coal!

Well its been awhile but we have made some progress. I finally got all my 5 speed parts and I got all my oil pressure woes figured out...stupid sending unit. And apparently the gasser oil pressure sending units are same, who would have guessed? Its time to start tearing apart the other truck, and make some real head-way. The clutch that came with the tranny is a haisley street double disk thats supposedly good for 600 horse, and im told its got about 75% life left. I hope both statements are true!
