engine bay cleaning
#12
just did this... wet the engine soak it with simple green and scrub with a tooth brush real good... turn on the power washer and spray away... it worked great for me.. O if u have a bhaf cover it!... then i used black magic engine degreaser and soaked it and power washed that off and when it dries it leaves a nice "tire wet" look... and i used my pressure washer with a 1250psi tip on it

I wouldn't use simple green is will cause alum. to corrode
X2 S100 is good stuff you can find it at any Harley shop.
This stuff works great. S100 Total Cycle Cleaner You may have to hit the really nasty spots with a brush or rag.

First turn the engine on, then I spray it down with water getting all the big loose dirt off, then I spray the whole engine down with a degreaser called "Clean-All" and use a wash mitt to hit everything under the hood, then spray it off with a regular garden hose with a jet style tip then air dry it with compressed air. Normally I leave the engine running for about 30 minutes to dry up any remaining water. Do this every day about 5 times a day and haven't had any problems yet and always have squeaky clean engines and engine bays.
