Well, I have been making some decent progress today, with some minor set backs as well. I about got the cab corner where I wanted it, and realized there were some cracks in the bondo, so I sanded them our and refilled them.

Then, I got all the bolts off the oil pan, so I could replace the gasket, and realized that I need to lift the engine to get her out. Gonna clean it up and paint it when i get it off, then inspect all the internals. I am sure they are fine, but just gotta check it out.

And, I got one of the inner fenders completely refurbed and painted up. Still working on restoring the rust on the other side.

Was gonna pull out the headliner from my shed, but my dad lost the key to the lock... so that'll wait.

Guess I will work on the fuel system. I gotta find a radiator shop to repair my radiator, since the bracket is coming off of it, or I gotta get good at brazing, which i might try since I am a bit short on cash right now As long as I can get it to last a few months, I can save up for a radiator repair.

Anyway... thats the updates, I should have some pictures tonight.

Meh, too tired to post pics, sorry.

Wow, been a while. Project has been mostly on hold lately since I took 3 summer classes at the college. Finally got around to doing some more work, since losing my job has freed up some time. Just working on bondo still, got part of the headliner done, and have been working on fiberglass sound deadening panels with some supplies i found in the garage (hey, it takes up some time, and its free... ).

Alrighty, finally uploaded a video of the progress made...

As you can see, no drivers floor, and lots of bondo time I have already put in... but she's finally running!!!!! She started RIGHT up on about half a crank, and didn't smoke a bit!

Right now, we are working on getting the cab brace all fabbed up (still), but its coming along. Gonna throw the old brown bed on so I can drive it through the winter, and so I can do bedsides on the new(er) bed.

Well, got lots of progress pictures to show off. finally getting to spend some serious time on it. Basically, just finishing the new fenders I bought (filling the holes for the emblems), got the hood straightened out and primed, got most of the back of the cab and roof sanded and ready to be primed, working on fiberglassing the headliner so it will quit falling apart so I can upholster it, and still working on the floor (of course)... etc...

First fender:

Second fender:

The hood all primed up:

Floor pans are laid in, almost ready to weld:

Headliner getting fiberglassed:

Readjusting the body line on the cab corner to fit the door:

Back of the cab all sanded:

And, I decided to try my hand at upholstery. I made a sound deadening panel to match the headliner fabric. I used the pink housing insulation and fiberglassed it, then wrapped it in the black fabric. I think it turned out really well. This one is going to go behind the seats against the back wall of the cab:

Thanks! I just gotta keep busy now. Lost my job, gf broke up with me, and I have nothing else to do, so why the hell not work on the truck? Lol, helps keep my mind off everything else.
