Ha! Thanks man. Not sure on shows, there were a few shows I wanted to hit early this year, but obviously didn't get to them... Unfortunately, I think when it comes to the serious shows, I would have no chance because I never brushed the frame and painted it.

Got the wood in the bed today! Decided to use some heavy duty glue instead of bolting the wood on. Turned out well. Still making small steps. Should be going back to the body shop for them to fix the small issues on their paint while I am in Japan...

Anywho, here is the wood, my brother and dad working on clamping it down... apparently the humidity made it swell:

Took the other toy (Mustang) out to the track following this round of modifications. The new things included upper and lower control arms, 100 lb weight reduction (not verified), and radials. Last time out, I weighed 3260lbs with slicks, same engine mods as this time and ran a 12.65@106 with a 1.70 60'.

Got some vidyas from today... Set a new PB and backed it up, had a ton of fun while doing so!

Before I leave figured I would throw up a quick update. Made progress on the vgt, got around 45 lbs of boost, wood is in, and she goes to the body shop again Monday!

I literally JUST walked in the door of my apartment after 25 hours of solid travel. Dad picked the truck up from round 2 at the paint shop this morning and said everything looks fantastic, I will be going back to take a peek tomorrow morning. Pretty lagged right now, so I doubt any progress will be made.

BUT... I did secure a job at a local hospital, so I will begin that after I get my licensing board exam done and obtain my license. Looking forward to making some BANK!

Thank you! Hopefully will be spending some time getting the new radiator installed, tuning the fuel pump, installing the valve springs, and gov spring here shortly.

Well, went and looked at the truck and I am beyond pissed now. The stupid body shop used tough up paint on something they were supposed to repaint! The door and the fender hit and the paint chipped, they were supposed to repaint the whole door, since this was also the door that hit the garage door rail. I would figure that this would be no big deal to run the gun up to the front of the door... apparently that was too much to ask.

So, it's going to a different body shop to get fixed properly now, I guess. What a pain in the ***! All I want is to have the paint done CORRECTLY and have the truck available for me to work on it and finish it up.
