Project Rusty Revival (56k no way!)
Thanks y'all! As usual, progress is slower than I anticipated (when will I learn!?)... So, it doesn't look like we will get to the center console tomorrow. Otherwise, progress is steady. We will be able to get the seats completely in tomorrow, and get the carpet laid again. The amp rack will get finished and mounted as well. I will have more pics tomorrow!

Finished mounting the seats today, and finished the amp rack. We are currently working on the sub box and center console design. Should be a pretty sick design if it all plays out how I imagine it.
Here are pics of the amp rack:

The brackets over the top of the amp will bolt directly to the bottom of the center console. This will allow easy removal of the console in the event that I need to get to the amp for any reason, plus it allows us to maximize the use of the limited space we have. The design of the amp rack will allow sufficient free flowing air to the amp to keep it cool, plus I will be putting a CPU fan (or 2) under there to keep the air moving. The front will be open for easy tuning of the amp as well. All in all, I think it's a pretty good design.

Well, progress today is much better than yesterday. We got a good jump on the center console, and it looks like we may have that all cut out by the end of the day. Unfortunately, I have to head home in a couple hours, otherwise I would say I think we could have the console done tonight. Big thanks to my dad for doing all the wood work on the center console!
