Those sides did a good Job of keeping most the crap in... They thick steel just for tha reason?

The motor is wrapped with steel cabels 3/4" thick in three places. That is what kept is from completely blowing apart. I have seen a few of these in person, one being our tractor. Ours did not completely blow apart, but it did melt down and all the internals were in the oil pan. That motor was running on alcohol, it is not uncommon for them to blow apart like that if not tuned correctly. I will have to try to find the one from the Natinal Farm Machernery show last year. The entire motor jumped off the frame and landed 90* to what it is suspoed to be.

yah i've seen the pic of that motor sitting sideways. looks a little rough. you're part of that mess huh.

Yes I am but no that big of stuff. We run in the 12000 lb farm stock class. Run a IH 1066 stock 466 block we have punched out to 700 cubes. Sleve on sleve ground flat. Here is a pic.

Watch the driver after it blows he must of got hit by shrapnel hes fealing his face then looking at his hand
