Bingo, the new style trucks were engineered to be easy to pull the cab, not the 6.0's. That tells me the engineers were actually thinking of how to make the truck easier to work on. Personally, I hope I never have to do anything major to any of my trucks but if I did, it would be nice if you could just pop the cab off in 1-2 hours.

Your tellin me that if your cab came off in 1-2 hours, you wouldnt do it and make life easier. I dont think you need to pull the cab off to get to the turbos, at least it doesnt look like it on my boss's 6.4.

Odds are I would never have to do any of those, but if I did, then yeah it would be nice to pull the cab that easy.

I think that the engineers should have to work on the vehicles they design for like a year with different scenarios of problems heads, intakes, injectors, turbos, ect and then maybe they would design things alittle different not shovin a motor clean up under the dash JMO

on the 6.0s i've been reading some (and what I am reading is scaring me away from the 7.3's and the 6.0s and damn near everything international built) the HPOP Or high pressure oil pump sits at the back of the motor and has a tendancy or can get carbon build up that's a pop the motor work apparently yes anything with the heads and apparently to pull the cam you have to do something at the back of the motor too on the 6.0 engine removal required and..I THINK he said it's wise for injectors? BUUUUT I'm going off some mechanic on you tube so I could be crazy

you dont have to pull the cab for head studs, just be sure to install the studs before you blow the HG.

i though people were pulling the 6.0 cabs in like 15 mins or so
