4.3L /100 km is 54 US MILES per Ga. - Can't do that in a hy-brid.

55L (14.5 gal) of fuel gets me 1180 km (733 mi) range on fumes of ULSD and some PS on board. Timing stock, exhaust mods, AFE stage 1, stock otherwise.

I haven't done anything to this car (yet) except oil, lube, brakes, trany fluid and that sort of reg. maint.

Water pump and front shocks are due soon as is a major decarb, complete exhaust re/re, new sticks and some turbo mods. Need a boost gauge and a pyro as well but I need to figure out where to put them first.

Bought the car new in 2003.

I really hope you enjoy your car. I wasn't trying to steal this thread. I've just been over at a VW car forum "dubberz.com" and there is this goof on there trying to tell me (and all the other dieselheads) that diesel is bad, gas is better, cleaner, quieter and so on. Needless to say I lost it a bit on that guy. If I came across here that way, sorry, wasn't intended.
