Got my car...it's not a diesel...
Well, bought my new car! I'm sooo excited and I love it...got an '07 Wolfsburg Edition Jetta...
Didn't get a diesel...started about 6-7 grand more and would have had to get an 06...for the difference in gas mileage (only about 8 mpg) I decided to save some money and go with the 2.5.

thanks!!! i love the new car smell! haha...
my parents bought me a new car for my graduation that i loved dearly (2002 mits. eclipse) but this is the first car i have bought myself, so it has a special place in my <3!
the best part is that possum likes it too...even though it wasn't a diesel...so if daddy's happy...everyone's happy...:-)

I support the cause!
My butt rides quite frequently in possum's 12ver. That's his thing...I can be a passenger! Haha...
And for what I lack in Dieselness, I make up for with wit and charm. (Just go with it...it worked on possum for a couple days...haha)

Maybe.
That said, the cost of the 1.9L TDI and the 1.8L T in canada is about the same. The economy is far more than the stated on the sticker with the diesel and substantially less on the gasser.
We have a 2003 TDI and love it. 60 mph or 100 mph = same mileage of 55! (4.3 L/100 km)...
