making boost tubes

bulb making boost tubes

I m needing to make some new piping from turbo to the inter cooler and from there to the intake Any one have any good ideas on how to make and what to make them out of?

I have used mandrel bent exhaust pipe, and had great results.

Something like this.. Search Results for mandrel exhaust - SummitRacing.com

Just cut the pieces up and make the shapes you need. Make sure your welds are good too - pinholes in your welds will cause lots of headaches down the road.

did htis when I did an HE351 conversion, worked awesome

What did you convert from? I have an HX35 and thought about going to the HE351, maybe even doubling up on the stock with the 351. (thought about it, still doing research to see if will do any good!)

compounding the 351 and 35 will not do you any good, only thing it will do is increace your drive pressure and decrease your spoolup

you would be alot better off with the 351 alone
