thats good to know, i use brake cleaner at work like its going out of style. it cuts through asphalt and tar like magic, and then i turn around and weld on it. thanks for the info you may have just saved me a trip to the docs office or the grave.

i remember welding galvanized and seeing the yellow cobweb like smoke coming off it , i was told .... you may not want to breath that .

:ouch: Good read about the brakleen. I use it religously, and im starting to try and use non chlorinated stuff when i can man is it easier on the lungs and headaches. |

watch out for welding in general, i am hear to tell you. smoke is not good for you.
