wow I am glad I took the time to stop and read that I have sprayed a part with brake clean before welding and I wont do that again.

Damn...i guess being with a fire dept, and workin with hazmat,I kinda thought everyone knew that, plus the old freon did something of similar nature. We used to teach it to the local garages in the area.

Ya ya, where were all these warnings when I was young and stupid, guess they were there I was just to stupid to read em. And ya after years of workin around farms, doin auto body work and metal plating and refinishing I have Chronic Asthma, Bronchitis and very little sense of smell or taste. Matter of fact the breathing problems cost me my military career here a couple of years ago when they discharged me on a medical.
