Default Engine Flush

was wondering what everyone was using now as I am getting ready to go all amsoil in my truck and know that I need to flush motor or the amsoil will do it for me and drop the service time of the oil. back a few years ago I had a s10 with a very dirty motor after oil changes because the po was poor on maintaining any vehicle so my neighbor told me to just add a qt of tranny fluid and it did the trick but don't know if that causes any issues or works that well

Used Amsoil engine flush. I ran a new filter filled w/ Amsoil to help enhance the flush.

Sorry, been gone a few days. Took a road trip on the bike from Iowa to Houston. Nice ride but my backside is sore!
As you said, you can flush and go right to the long intervals or you can just switch, but run that first interval a bit shorter, maybe 7k or so as it does clean it out for you.

I usually just switch fluids over and run a shorter interval when going from dino oils to synthetics, or when purchasing something because I just never trust the PO's word.
