If you really want it take it to a shop and have it checked out. it may look good on the outside but something serious on the inside. just to be safe. my cummins has 236k looks like crap but nothing to serious wrong with it.

Some quick items I check for besides obvious leaks and how it performs are:

Excessive blowby (pressure/heavy puffing)
Inspect turbo for pitted blades and excessive shaft play

If you are serious and not too familiar with these trucks, take it to a reputable shop to inspect as mentioned above. Will cost a little money but may save you from a big mistake which will end up costing a lot more. If it checks out, I would trade.

see its always good to know have someone look at things!

sometimes when people know of a problem that is soon to arise, they will fix all the cosmetic issues and sell them fast and cheap (like they did on mine)

problem is with mine i bought at a dealer auction, so i paid $4000 less than retail, but it cost about that to fix the problems it had... always check on things first. lots of people are like me and they beat the s*** out of things

If you were sellin both the Cummins would be worth at least double what yours is worth.

if you want to post pictures full size, you have to upload them to a site. you can use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket thats what I use and its pretty simple
