S o it would have to have the updated fuel pump for Oklahoma. Were not required to have that here yet anyways.

I asked him what he ment and I got this response

. I was told that I didnt have to do anything with the fule system but it may have to do with epa requlations if you live somewhere that they do the diesel exhaust checks. Not sure though.

What am I missing?

Its a 97 7.3l 5 speed?

Not 100% sure but I think that truck is too old for the new emissions laws to apply, do you have to smog where you live? If you dont I wouldnt worry about it

Oklahoma is probably the most lax state in the nation when it comes to emissions and inspection. You don't have anything to worry about with the 97 Powerstroke
